Life can be challenging at times. Our ability to cope often depends on how we see ourselves and the world around us. When we feel overwhelmed, anxious, or stuck, reaching out for mental health support can make all the difference.
As a BACP registered counsellor, I offer a safe, compassionate space where you can explore your thoughts and feelings. Together, we can work through challenges such as anxiety, low self-esteem, or grief, helping you move forward with greater clarity and self-understanding.
I'm a BACP registered counsellor, and have experience working with a range of issues, such as trauma, low self-worth/ self-esteem, depression, anxiety, anger, loss, grief, lack of trust, domestic abuse, sexual abuse, relationship issues, suicidal thoughts, self-harm. This list is not exhaustive and I believe that we are all unique and react to life’s challenges differently, so whatever has brought you to therapy, rest assured that I will provide a supportive space for you to explore your thoughts and feelings without fear of judgement.
In this confidential and accepting environment you will have the opportunity to discuss any difficulties you may be experiencing and we can work together to help you develop better coping strategies, create positive change and enhance personal growth and overall wellbeing. My goal is to help you heal from your pain, grow from your struggles, become aware of your inner strengths and move forward to where you want to be in your life.
I am insured and I’m a member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and I abide by their Ethical Framework for Good Practice. I offer remote sessions via Zoom or telephone. I can offer evening and weekend sessions.
I understand how nerve-racking these times can be and how they affect people differently. As such, I offer a free initial 15 minute consultation so that you can ask any questions you have about therapy and to get a feel for whether I’m the right counsellor for you.
The sea has always been a place of comfort for me. The rhythm of the tide brings both calm and perspective - a reminder that even the toughest times eventually pass and shift into something new.
It’s from this connection that the name Changing Tides was born.
If you’d like to hear more about how Changing Tides came to life, you can listen to this short video where I share the story behind the name.
If you’d like to arrange a free, no-obligation telephone consultation, please get in touch. Together, we can discuss what you’re hoping to gain from therapy and how I can best support you on your journey toward improved mental health and wellbeing.
